PADI Rescue Diver

Written by Mike Ennulat. Posted in PADI Training

In your beginner course you learned the basics on scuba diving, concentrated on the knowledge and abilities required, in order to survive under water, in your advanced course you extended your knowledge and experience on different situations and enviroments.

The PADI Rescue Diver course, the next challenge, prepares you to avoid smaller and also more serious diving emergencies and, if necessary, to manage them using different techniques. This will extend your abilities and your self-confidence as a diver and will prepare you for the next steps towards the professional levels of diver education.

The minimum age for this course is 12 years.

  • duration: 3-4 days
  • prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent and medic first aid course (i.e. PADI EFR)
  • minimum age: 12 years PADI Junior Rescue Diver, min. 15 years PADI Rescue Diver
  • maximum depth: 40 meters
  • certificate: yes, PADI Rescue Diver
